BOTTOMS UP!!!!

Some pretty little duckies --checking things out below the water!!!

Round every corner is another Kodak moment!!

I am glad they were on different air lanes ---- but how cool is that to see an X in the sky made by Chem Trails!!!

The clear, aqua blue water of Teslin Lake.

Again --- I just can't get quite enough of the beauty of the mountains and here again they are reflected in the water.  But those dumb power lines are in the way!!!

We have seen almost NO RCMP (State Patrol) on this trip --- the wooden car probably explains it!!!  It is streamlined but doesn't go very far!!

We are back in Watson Lake, Yukon.  We passed through here on our way but I didn't get a picture of the official sign!!!

The Northern Lights Centre in Watson Lake , B.C. We went in to see an Omnimax type of show.  It was about the start of life from those cute little one cells things to the great universe and the Northern Lights!!!  I was not impressed with the show - there was a lot of scientific explanations which are a bit hard to understand but I was really wondering why the one celled business had to be in there.  I was impressed with the pictures of the Earth that were taken from space and in this I saw the Greatness of our God and HIS creation.

We drove from Watson Lake to Coal Creek and saw numerous creatures along the way --- from 7:30 until 9:00 we saw so many bear, buffalo and ever a beaver.  They are so amazing --- some take off and run away and some stay quite close -- this buffalo was so close I could have touched his nose!!!  Didn't really think I wanted to do that though!!!  His nose was runny!

It was getting to be bedtime for a lot of these critters and quite a few were lying down.

This bear decided to try to climb the tree but then realized that we were quite friendly and came down and posed for me!!!  They look so very cuddly!!!!

A beaver that is in only a tiny bit of water.

We left Watson Lake about 7:30 and drove to Coal River and found a very nice motel!!  No TV, No WiFi, No Cell Service ---- but two twin beds that slept wonderfully!!!! Because we couldn't waste our time any other way we were in bed by 10:00PM.   Remember also that we are in our 70's so those twin beds were really wonderful!!!!  Just saying....

Neither of us woke up until 8:45 AM - I think we were really tired!!  We had breakfast in their little cafe and that too, was very yummy!!!

The people that run this motel come here in the spring and work until about September and then close up for the winter!!!  Can't blame them to want to escape all the cold and snow and what a fun and profitable way to spend the summer!

Stocking Hat #12

And now it is midnight and the sun IS in bed already!!!  We are quite a few miles south now so the days are not quite so long!!
